Seattle Area HomeWatch Services LLC was founded in 2020 by Chris Byler after years in Seattle real estate revealed a gap: clients needed a reliable, accountable partner to keep an eye on their homes during travel, extended work assignments, and seasonal stays. We built a service around trust, clear communication, and photo-documented visits—so small issues don’t become costly problems.
Our story
After working with primary and second-home owners across the greater Seattle area, we often heard the same question: “Who can watch our home when we’re gone?” Without a dependable referral option, we created one. Today, Seattle Area HomeWatch serves homeowners throughout North King and South Snohomish counties with customized, checklist-based visits and fast, transparent follow-up.

Not a home inspection—by design
We are not licensed home inspectors. Home watch is a preventive, between-visits service: a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues. When something needs a specialist, we’ll let you know right away and help coordinate next steps.
